| Gotta reconfigure trailer lights (welding, drilling) in order to squeeze new barco into the garage. Any recommendations on who does quality work at a reasonable price is much appreciated. McClain trailer.,, |

How are you lights configured now ? Just wondering because lights are a pretty easy job. I'm just thinking if your lights won't fit in the garage how do your tires and fenders get in there? Also is your trailer galvanized or aluminum it doesn't make any difference just wondering. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

| If you can't do it, Charlie's Boat Trailer is the best 361-443-0873. |

Thanks gentlemen. The lights extend outward from top of PVC covered guide posts. I have to unbolt and lay of the guide posts onto the trailer fram to manually push the trailer into the garage. Naturally, the unbolting part is a PITA.
Thinking of removing both guide posts for good and bolting lights to lower rear end of trailer.
Any major issue with putting the boat on the trailer at th ramp without guide posts? I've been doing it for years with my little Whaler/trailer combo.
IMS, the trailer is galvanized. |

| No but on that's how you can also keep them from ever being submerged too. |

I don't have to trailer my boat very much any more just lucky. But I built a set of clamp on trailer lights years ago ,they go on when i trailer and they come off at the ramp . Since they never get wet (salt water) they last a very long time been using the same set for years no head aches if you do have to fix a broken wire or burnt out bulb its on a work bench not on the ground |

| Can you cut down the guide posts to a height that will fit in your garage? Seems that would be better than eliminating them. I used trailers with out them for years but having them makes it much easier to put the boat on the trailer in the wind. |
