Fished the close rigs first visibility there sucked no luck on kings, just small snapper. Ventured out a little further to the Artificial reef and to find much better water. Very blue and good visibility. Went three for four on the kings there. My girlfriend got her first king ever and then her second right after! Now to quit fooling around offshore and find a tagged redfish

I tried to go out of Port A twice yesterday, once at 8 a.m. and again at 3 to troll the anchorage and decided it was just too rough. Stopped once to clear weed from a bait and my crew went kinda green on me. Kudos for sticking it out. Looks like it paid off. |

are you sure that fish she is holding is a king? there are spots on it and the lateral line looks more of spanish mackeral. _________________ If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am. |

Don't know what y'all are looking at ( ) but the lateral line that I see after enlarging the photo makes a definite King dip just below the soft dorsal fin. _________________ Dave
