I am going to Florida in less than 2 weeks and have been crazy busy at work and really havnt been able to fish. If anyone catches a BIG Jack and can spare it, please give me a call or shoot me a PM. I would like to rig a couple of baits out of it and then freeze it so I'm not going without any bait! I rented a 21' Cobia to take out the first day I'm there in hopes of loading up on bait for the week. Should be a pretty good trip. I am meeting a buddy down there and my TSR team may be coming over for a few days! I'm pumped!

They had some for sale at roys a few weeks ago. Said they had a lot. Might give them a call. Good luck in Florida! I'm waiting for that report! I got a few large cownose. I could probably spare one if you need it.

Yeah I should have clarified.....I need them fresh and unfrozen, because I would like to rig them before I freeze them! I have pretty high expectations for this trip!

Ah! OK. Well if nothing else.... There's always frozen. You could thaw it and re freeze it. People have used the same baits multiple trips andits worked for them.

If I get desperate I will buy some.... But I'm trying to keep things as quick and easy as possible! I won't be shark fishing in Florida, I will be "tarpon" and "Goliath grouper" fishing! So I don't want to be rigging baits and stuff like that on the beach unless I have to!

I can't wait to write the report on this trip! Haha! I hope it lives up to my expectations, which is going to be difficult to do!

What part? I'm from the Tampa area. If you're going to Pensacola or around there Bonita should be easy to catch out of your yak right off the beach. Shark fishing is frowned upon but as long as there's not a lot of people where you're at I've never had much of an issue. Passes at night are good for big bulls and don't overlook the intracoastal. They have some big boys in there compared to here.

Destin has a lot of "emptier" beaches compared to South Florida. I have always been able to find somewhat empty beaches east of Destin when I lived there, near Santa Rosa/Miramar beach. You won't have a problem.

I just got back from a vacation back there and bonito were absolutely thick. Troll around past the 3rd sandbar and youll get them.

Right on! Thanks man! I'm ready to take the boat I rented out that first day I'm there!
