Sorry so late...last Saturday a few buddies and I fished a tourney to raise money for a scholarship.
We fished around the land cut area and ended up finding plenty of reds. All caught on croaker...but a gold spoon would have really got them good! We lucked out and got heavy red for the day.
Took the wife out for a little cruise a couple days ago...
And right now a She Salt prostaff angler is over in the Bahamas chasing bonefish...
...check out shesaltapparel.com for a huge sale...
I was surprised to see how many trailers were at the ramp for nueces this morning with all the weather in the area. _________________

| Way to go. Gold spoon, that old faithful lure that everyone forgets. |

| Nice shirt on that first picture! Not sure why people always give me a look like I'm joking when I tell them that I have caught more fish on a simple gold spoon than any other lure?!? |
