Just moved down to Calallen. Don't have a boat and no room for my kayak here Sad
I don't want anyone's honey holes or anything, but what are some good areas around here that I can fish... preferably wading or on the bank/pier.
I have fished Mustang and Port A before but would prefer to find somewhere near the Nueces that I could make a short drive to after work.
Also, does anyone have a detailed fishing spot map of the Nueces/Back Bay?

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!

There is a parking area on the Joe Fulton that you can wade nueces bay from. That is the closest to you that I can think of.

What do people catch at Lebonte Park ? Is it saltwater fish or freshwater ? I have driven by there probably ten thousand times and always see people fishing, dont know if they're catching anything or if it's just puro Natural Light time.

Its more brackish. I know I have personally seen reds and gar caught. I have heard there are lots of blue crabs. I think I heard of trout there also. But I have never fished there just stop there occasionally.
