Went out for a early morning walk in wade. Trout were hitting topwater's up until about 8:30 am and I started using the rat tail bass assasin- pumpkinseed & slamming chicken worked quite well. Called it a day around noon. Biggest fish pulled nearly 5 lbs on the boga grip and taped out at 23 1/4", she didn't go back in the bay due to a deep hookset.
Between the two of us we kept 6.
Biggest one; when I tried to land her she was followed by a bigger trout... wish I caught that one too.
