Academy had these on sale for $49.99 with free shipping so I bought one in size 50 to try out. Have never used Penn spinning reels before but have read a lot of good things on this forum about Penn reels. Are these decent reels? Your opinions and insights are requested.

I used to have a penn ssg. It was ok, but I like my shimanos better for a similar price.
