Well with less winds this morning it made for a nice ride to rocky slough. Water clearity was great, Karen caught one keeper trout. The topwater bite was nonexistent. Winds were SW at first then SE then East and finally NE. At about 3:30pm they picked up to 30mph. Went from calm to 30 mph in less than 10 minutes. I guess the spring pattern never happened for me. I still have 8 days of fishing left so I'll keep at it... Adios

Steadily watching your reports. Taking a Coastie and the Navy fishing Saturday. The forecast is calling for 60% chance of rain should be interesting. Skipper those NE winds yesterday were crazy around 3-3:30.
Another weather station says 20% chance Saturday.....
GOOD LUCK ALL....... _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

I was out the kayak when that 30 mph mini-front hit. Out. Of. Nowhere. Totally kicked my behind. Got my workout for the century. _________________ ...if my boss ever finds this forum I'll be unemployed... |
