I had a long slow grind today... I started out with a super spook, then swapped to 5" bass assasin's and vudu shrimp on a cajun thunder. Found them in shin to knee deep water around noon time on the rat tail, trout up to 19".

Here's the biggest fish with beautiful brown water in the background!

It seems to be a noon time bite. We found a few in shin deep water but water was nasty and they were taking artificials over croaker.

Yeah, I couldn't tell if I was fishing over grass or sand or whatever it was, I think it was the grassline where I fished over! It sure is awful looking.

I was right on a grassline when they hit. A 80 yrd cast with the wind and they would hit it literally a foot away from me. You know the water is bad when they cant even see you hahaha.

Weather is getting better starting tomorrow! Lets hope it clears up!

I saw a green spot of water in the backyard yesterday. Maybe just maybe it will start to clear up abit. When we had the brown tide last year I started seeing green streaks across the backyard and before you knew it the brown stuff was gone. I will be watching, I look at the backyard everyday. Keep them fingers crossed. Very Happy

All the rain we've been getting up north of corpus sure can't hurt. Nice trout!

Maybe, but the high tide made it a bit harder because the fish were very scattered. I believe I had the best bite at that time because it was a major fishing period- the moon was over head.
