I went out for an early morning wade and was met by a school of tailing reds. I was lucky enough to hook into a nice 21 inch keeper which in turn decided he would snap my new waterloo phantom rod. I was initially throwing purple and green paddle tails which triggered the first and only bite of the day. Switched out lures, and threw topwaters, vudu shrimp, gulp, savage 3D Shrimp, corky's, etc.. and none wanted anything to do with my lures. I kept kicking my self in the butt all morning for not stopping by to pick up some live shrimp, and as if it couldn't get any worse I dunked my shimano reel in the water. Oh well I guess I really cant complain, like they say ' A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work'

Kingz go out and get ya some reds, I have seen some of your videos, I'm sure you can get a bite out of them.

Tyler I'm still learning and making rookie mistakes, the staff at Roy's got me all fixed up with the equipment issues. I'm learning some good lessons though Smile

Free-lined pearl gulp I believe is his weapon of choice. If I see correctly on his videos. Sometimes a jerk shad as well.
