Watch out everybody. With my little ones around I kill all rattlers found on my property.

While thinking about it. I used my neighbors semi auto 22 and liked it. It's much better than my single shot bolt action. I looked up Academy and know they have a marlin model for $159. Anyone have something similar laying around that they are interested in selling or other recommendations? Let me know. Thanks

We killed 2 at work this week.

On another note:
I haven't seen or heard about hanging the snake to make sure it rains. My uncle told me that when I was a teenager and didn't believe him (after we had killed a snake cleaning out the barn)so I hung it on the fence.
Sunny skies and we got a nice shower that afternoon on my cousins out door graduation party. Smile

When I lived in Montana, a Blackfoot told me to burn the rattlesnake in an area you don't want them. My ex at the time almost picked one up in the garden thinking it was a cucumber. I shot it, burned it and for the next 10 years never saw another rattlesnake in that area. And in the next 10 years it kept my ex away from me too.
