ok, so i was told something today that has got me curious. they told me that down close to port mansfield jetty, that there is a place that everyone calls the saucer......can anyone elaborate on this, or can tell me exactly where it is? i know this may be a secret spot, but if anyone can help out i'd appreciate it.

South of Port Mansfield. East of intercoastal. Great location to fish if you are already in that area. I personally fish a ton of other spots when Im back home. Just about anywhere you go down there is loaded up with good size fish, you just have to put in the time. Ill be down there for our one yearly fishing tournament in a few weeks. Im looking forward to it, I already have the house and pier rented!

It is marked on the Top Spot map of the lower lagoon and also visible on Google Earth. South of Port Mansfield, find Mullet Island then look slightly south and east, across the ICW - that is the area.

The Saucer is accessible by boat only, it is an area of flats in Mansfield
