Take an aluminum fish scalier to a stringer full of fresh gutted trout.

Technology...humm. Confused

Well, I should hope not! Better to use the back side of a butter knife. Smile

i prefer to use a spoon, i think it works better than the scaling tool. My kid will probably never set up a day of fishing using a protractor, compass, and map.

"I don't scale fish often. But, when I do, I use a spoon."

The scales don't go flying. They build up on the spoon and are easily disposed of.

Curry comb for horses works great! That's what Carlos at Morgan St. Seafood uses.

I always used a spoon but haven't done it in years.

Come to think of it those scaled little guys always seemed to taste great! Wonder if its something to do with the skin or bones left in there? Maybe next trip I'll try it again???

My child will never be able to record my 4 pound trout with my 12 pound video cam-corder. Very Happy

LOL.......

You were quite kind with your retort for going off subject.

My offspring will not catch a stringer full of bream with a cane pole at the bank of a lake. 4 inch bream at that. Too much high tech stuff and small fish are not worth the effort to them now.
