Doesnt look good so far. Front will be crashing through.
Hate this time of the year, its either a cold front or the fog is terrible. _________________

| The spring down here tends to bring ridiculous wind. Once the wind lays down after a few days of heavy blowing, the trout bite will pick up. At least that's how it was for me the last 2 years. |

After April 18th (fingers crossed) the mr will be home so I'm sure he would be down to go every chance he gets, that is if you wouldn't mind a newbie going with? _________________

I HIGHLY encourage him going with a group for the first time. There are usually posts before hand about trips. _________________

Piermom,
My wife was the same way, until I took her out btb (a few trips under my belt) under smooth conditions and she caught her first limit of red snapper. Last few times I took her she outfished me and now she's ready to troll for kings. She even has a few weather conditions apps on her ipad and is always looking for the next "window". There are a few ladies that btb in this area. |

I know, I have a few myself
I'm just not overly keen on jumping head first into btb like he is, plenty of awesomeness to be had in the skinny water. Not to mention I want to be personally 100% sure I can make it out there and not be dying on the way in or the next day. I'll probably won't be doing any blue water stuff till little man starts school in a few years, babysitters are hard to come by for some stupid reason _________________
