Father Killed in Crash While Heading Home from Fishing Trip

NUECES COUNTY - A Corpus Christi man headed home from a fishing trip with his family died in a rollover crash on FM 70 near FM 67 this morning.

State troopers say Noe Diaz was driving too fast for slick road conditions when he lost control and flipped his Dodge Ram.

Diaz died at the scene. His 10-year-old daughter and young niece were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The rest of the family witnessed the entire crash as they were following Diaz.

**THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE DIAZ FAMILY**

Really sad and reports said not one of the passengers was wearing a seat belt. Troopers said it would have made a difference but maybe others will learn from this unfortunate incident. Hope the little ones have a quick recovery!

Prayers to his family and friends. That road can be dangerous in foggy and wet conditions.

I missed this story. Very sad to say the least. Life is very fragile.
