| Dad and I went out from about 8 am to 3 PM and had one hit all day long. Fished California Hole and out past marker 18 in AP and no luck. I know it's not ideal conditions but it doesn't get more frustrating than that. Will be at it again in the morning. Hoping things will change before I head back to SA for a few weeks. |

That's a bummer! Talked to a guy who drifted Cali Hole on Friday or Saturday with live shrimp under cork and they boxed 14 keeper trout. I don't know how long they were at it though. Last I was in there with arti's we only found dinks up shallow along the chain of islands

Tomorrow might be a good day to rest. Front, lots of wind, pressure will rise. Regroup and try later in the week. This is spring break in the coastal bend. Nothing productive happens here this week....so it seems. Just sayin. 
But on a brighter side, everyone goes back to work and school in two weeks, things heat up, and the wind howls...and the brave returns to catching fish!!
