Anyone hear of the white bass run yet? Is there even any water in the Nueces by George West?

Plenty of boats out at the 59 bridge in George West. Seems like the run is underway.

I fished the river two weeks ago and caught 5 small males after about 2 hours. More water in the river than the past two years I fished there for sure. I read on another forum that the run is on now but I haven't been willing to brave the drive in the fog. I almost got hit once yesterday and once this morning and that's driving less than 10 miles from the island to NAS!
