Anyone have any advice or reviews on these. Looking at putting one on my skiff but seeing mixed reviews about them on their website and has me on the edge a little bit.

go into south texas trolling motor and ask them how many warranties they do for power poles versus the talon... last time I asked, failures were about 10 talons to one power pole.

the talon is all electric and anything electric exposed in the salt will die an untimely death .Bassboat sure the Lagoon a different beast ,plus if a powerpole croaks you can always undo a fitting and rope it up no so easy on a talon

I had an 8' one on my Mako for 2 years as well; never had any issues. Quiet, strong and held well. Worked best in water 4 feet or less. Anything over 6 feet has a weaker hold in higher wind.
