I waded on the boat ramp sunday and it was fine however if you are in Redfish Bay, Shamrock, Brown and Root or anywhere that has a lot of shorebirds around I would wear waders. Hydroids are around at B and R and in Redfish Bay for sure. They are like water chiggers and can't get nasty. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

Thanks! It's hard enough to hold a fishing pole and a beer - there is no way that I can scratch. _________________ Happy Hook'n

There are enough Portugese Man O War jellies around that I would wear them in the surf too. Lots of Sargassum so short rods only. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

oh man, you guys would die laughin if you saw me. I don't have any breathables yet (they are on the way), so I have to wear my neoprenes. I am a skinny guy and I'd rather be hot than cold. The neos weren't bad at all, especially with no sun and a cool breeze, but I can't wait to get my breathables (which should only be good for me for another coule of weeks). _________________ Save the seagrass......Shoot some ducks |

made from a variety of materials, but are not nearly as thick and heavy as neoprene. Good at keeping you dry, not so much at keeping you warm. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

We're headed down Friday morning also, need to try the surf if the weed isn't too bad which I expect that it will be , I'll head to a wade spot.
We should be in Friday afternoon and instead of going to the room I think we'll head straight down PINS. |
