I'm relatively new to Corpus but I've been to the location between nile and rodd field twice and been ignored both times. Anyone else have this problem? I talked to the lady up front both times and waited for someone in sales to come after she paged them. I'm not entirely patient but I didn't turn right around and walk out. The first time I had cash for a boat in my pocket and now I am looking for a trailer for the boat I ended up buying. As a related but side note, where is the best place to buy a boat trailer? New or used. I have a 20' Mako if it makes any difference......

If you're talking about Premier Yamaha next to Roy's then give Bruce Laser a call. He's the manager and a good guy and sponsor. He'd want to know if they are falling short on service. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

I took my little mud stomper jon boat in there for repairs on my 25 4stroke honda (ethanol problems). Worked with a gentleman named Casey. He was very helpful and kept me informed of all progress and stood by his work. Service was excellent and I was very impressed.
Can't say anything on sales though. |

| Disagree on sales. Good experiences for over 15 years - multiple boats. |

| Dang. I swore it said ronnies marine on the side. My apologies. That is the place and I wasn't trying to attack a sponsor(obviously since I had the name wrong). I was just trying to figure out if I am wasting my time there or if it's worth going back. I'd think this would be a slow time of year for them but maybe not. |

Bruce is a very nice and helpful person. Not knocking the place at all but I went in there to buy some stern light bulbs and their price for 2 was 16 bucks. I got them for 4 bucks at West Marine. As far as the boat I bought no problems at all. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

Waypoint marine sells the Mako line if I am not mistaken and maybe they can help out with a trailer.
I called Coastline, McClain, etc and they all had a 1-2 month build time.
I didn't get a warm and fuzzy feeling when I went to Yamaha Marine either. and I'm now cruising a shoalwater. _________________ Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. |

Bruce is the only employee I have had a positive experience with. |

i have always had great dealings with the parts and service departments but the sales department seems to think they don't need my business. Tried to get a price to re-power my boat and couldn't even get a response so I re-powered somewhere else. _________________ just get started |

| If you need a trailer sooner, I know a place that will build it in a week or two and bring it to you from Houston. I am not affiliated, just passing along the info. |

Jim, please pass along the info. I can even go to Houston to get it, if it was to work out. I am looking to order one right now and would like it in early February if at all possible. If not, the wheels aren't falling off the one I have right now but it's quite rusty and the design makes it so I can't park it in my driveway, which isn't very steep.......
The building DOES have a huge sign that says Ronnie's Marine so I don't feel like quite the idiot now. haha |

Have been visiting Ronnie's (will always be that to me) for 10 yrs now.
Started out with services for my 1st PF (purchases at GCM),then purchased my 22PF there in 06' & all my service there.
Bruce,Carey,Al (others I don't even know there names)
AL GOOD PEOPLE
lived here all 61 of my years, and visited all the other local marine stores, purchased from some over the years, but I have to say Ronnie's (the I go again) is the best!
