Very Happy I know, it's been too cold to fish for most but that won't stop me getting emails from folks complaining that I haven't updated the report pages. I haven't had anything in ages from Baffin, Bob Hall pier or Packery.

Haven't been out myself in a few weeks but saw a fellow pull in a nice red while I was heading home yesterday. About 4:30 pm, right before the island, packery channel. Hoping to get out there this Saturday.

The ICW is stacked with drum at night. Under JFK, Marker 37, CLems with fishbites or dead shrimp on the bottom will pull in some. A few reds mixed in with nice sized croaker.

The island canal system has produced a few keeper trout but no big ones for me yet. Fish the crash channels with live shrimp on the bottom or slowly bounce your favorite soft plastic.

I can just imagine a prehistoric nomadic version of AcousticTennis, padding around in a dugout canou with long unkempt hair (not much a stretch lol), catching drum on some 3000 BC version of fishbites.

South Pass area in Matagorda Bay slowed with cold front. Trout bite today was very slow. Oyster boats were running way too close and turned the clear blue water to a mud bath. [/img]

SBH water is murky with no weed. Croaker between 10-12inches is all I have been catching. Hope that helps.

Just heard from the neighbor that he is getting sheephead at night out on the Fulton pier. That is about all I know at this time.
Almost forgot.....a few fish at night at Conn Brown from the bank into the ICW just North of the fish cleaning station.
