Well the temp in my yard is 36degs at this hour it was 35 when I went to bed. The winds are northerly at 15-18mph just enough to keep me inside this morning. Humidity is 89% and the barometer is at 30.17. Water temps are in the 40 deg anywhere from 44 to 48 in the deeper waters the flats must be bone chilling. This front really knocked the tide out and with the water temps the channels and holes and harbours with 15-20ft of water should be packed with fish. A speck rig tipped with shrimp and drug real slow across the bottom should fill your stringer. We used to just simply hammer the fish in the Rockport harbour when it was cold like this with that set up. The Game Wardens will be busy.
Me and the wife drove up to Austin yesterday it was 29 degs up there. It was a nice drive we will be going back for Christmas. Havea good day. I can hear my wooden wind chimes banging.....too windy for me. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

Thanks for the report and tips... So good to hear you made a trip to my area. It never got above 29 all day yesterday at my house in Buda. Hahaha Beautiful Buda, as the Chamber of Comerce says. LOL
Have a great day and I know you'll be out there chasing those big'uns soon. Best wishes to all my Corpusfishing Buds! _________________ Character is doing the right thing because it is the right thing to do, not because someone else is making you do it.
