Got a little bit of a later start this morning but ended up launching the boat around 8am. Decided to stay close due to time constraints but it turned out ok. Ended up with 18 keeper trout between 2 of us and a slot red. Fish were in semi sandy green water about 5 ft deep, where you could barely make out the bottom contour of grass and sand pockets. They were not in the super aquarium clear water or the really dirty water. Floating grass is problematic right now. Theres huge mats of it scattered in the Laguna. Here's a few pics.

They were all caught on artificial, particularly the Kwiggler ball tail in Mansfield Margarita or honey gold color. All fish released to fight another day!

nice catch! Couple friends of mine went out yesterday and sent me pictures of a double limit by them as well. Sounds like the trout are active in Laguna right now
