|
|
My wife & I are going to ride the Jetti boat over tomorrow. I have just a couple questions?
1. If the low tide is in the morning, should we wait until the afternoon to go, or does it matter?
2. What's the best way not to get hung up? Every time we have gone to the south Jetti we break a line every other cast!
3. Is it too rocky to take a cart to the end? |

I don't fish the jetties much but when I do it is in port a....not really. You won't get many answers on here this late. Most of the old farts go to bed early and get up with the roosters the tide should be coming in early, you want a moving tide so this should be good. Try freelining your bait or search for a lemon rig. Bottom fishing is how you lose all your gear. You can try a spoon if you have one. Don't let it fall all the way to the bottom. If smacks are around you may need wire leader. I forgot the other part...one more beer....ok.not sure about going to the end but work your way along and when you find fish stop. People on the north are more acaccommodating than the south imo. Ask what they are catching and how. Good luck. Jay |
