This is a little late but I thought I would post the pics since nobody is going to be down PINS today. Water was clearing all day on the outgoing tide. The wind died midmorning and the biting flies were eating us up even with the deep woods off. Wind was from the west in the afternoon. First two slot reds were caught on cut whiting and cut skipjack in the high teens. All the rest were caught on mullet in the low 20's. Total for the day was 8 reds all in the slot. Fishbites only caught hardheads so I did not keep them out too long.

My Dad was down from San Antonio and had this nice 26" 5 spotter.

Trying to turn around I found out my 4WD was not working. Got a pull from some guys in a red F150 from San Antonio. If you read this - thanks again. They declined my offer or beer or lunch money. I have done the same for others so I will just keep paying it forward. Hopefully we can all get fishing on PINS again soon while the fishing is on like Donkey Kong Exclamation

Man that almost looks like my old F250. You didn't buy it from a girl in Portland did ya?
Anyways in regards to your 4WD not working it might be related to a fuse. This was part of that recall awhile back on a wire going to master cylinder? It was shorting out and oddly also shorting out the fuse for the 4wd. Don't put in a bigger fuse - it defeats the purpose of the fuse going out and saving your wires. lol

One time Chuck from Team Oso stopped by thinking I was you. Bluffer did the same thing also.

I have had that truck since it was new in 2001. It is getting close to retirement or maybe it is already past that. I replaced the original Ford auto hubs with Warn hubs several years ago. When I switched back to 2WD I heard a loud "ping" from the wheel area. Today I had a brake line spring a leak when I slammed on the brakes. I will have to put the fuse thing on my long list. Thanks for the info.

Jay
