All of our fishing gear burned. Camper,Kayak,rods, generators every thing gone. just before sharkathon.

we had insurance. trying to prove what we had is the problem. it melted every thing.

They had the whole area by our house blocked off. had to go back and have a another drink at the pier while they got it tamped out.
If your insurance co tries to pencil #@!$ you over that one I would change agents that day. |

OUCH!!!!!  Man I certainly hope the insurance route works out well. But that isn't much consolation in the immediate. That's a tough loss. |

Hope the insurance covers all your belongings. The most important part of this is that you walked away without injury....and can most definitely fish another day!!!

Billy, if you still want to fish Sharkathon I have that 9/0 you can have back and you can absolutely borrow one of my kayaks for Sharkathon and I probably have some other gear you can use as well. I've got some spare hooks and mono and cable for leaders. I can go through my things this weekend and get a list of stuff.
