I wanted to get some reds as well as some bait for tomorrow's excursion to the beach. With tides higher today than they have been I worked close to the spoil islands in the ULM. Got 4 reds. 2 were 21", one was right at 20 (released) and also released a 29" red. Got 2 skippies for bait. One at 22" was the biggest fish of the day. And as a bonus I got 2 trout to boot. Will try to post pic later. Now that I solved problem with posting pics I got a new laptop that is loaded with Windows 8 that I have to learn

Sounds like a great day!!

As far as Windows 8... I had a tough time with the transition and what they call the "metro interface". I found a program called Classic Shell that will boot Windows 8 into the desktop mode and give you the standard start menu option (http://www.classicshell.net/)

Windows 8 has a free upgrade to 8.1 coming in October. That said windows 8 is a program that is designed for a touch screen monitor. Otherwise confusion reigns supreme. Get author David Pogue's book on Windows 8 - the missing manual.

I got it on my new laptop in march. Hated it. Once I started getting used to it, I used it on a touch screen and it made so much more sense.

On windows 8, do yourself a favor and get an app that puts the start menu back. My wife's machine is windows 8 and I am a Mac guy. Microsoft blew it imho and everyone working a computer hates 8. I think I read somewhere that they are going to do a service pack that get the old start menu back. In the meantime there are free apps that do it and some paid ones. It is dumb to think one OS will work across phones tablets and computers.
