How deep are your pockets? I think Van Staal is still made in Tulsa. Bradly Farm and Machine milled the parts in Ga and they are/were put together at the Zero Bomb Co ( Zebco ) plant in Tulsa.
That was 8-9 years ago so I could be wrong. |

If you ever need a conventional reel for the gulf, look no further than Avet. Awesome reels, good price, and made in the USA. I just got an SX and it is an impressive little reel. If I manage to mess up bearings or whatever, I send it in with twenty bucks and they will fix whatever is wrong with it! Fishing from a kayak is a sloppy business, and I can see using that promise in the future.
I wish they made spinning reels, I would buy one. |

If they don't mean it they shouldn't say it. I'm sure I will have personal experience in this area within a few years. |

| I presume Accurates are made in the USA, but that is some high end pricy stuff. Sort of depends on how patriotic your bank account is. |

Those are big reels. Offshore boat reels. I dont think anyone makes 100% USA 2000-3000 series lightweight inshore reels like a Stradic.
Van Staals sure are purdy!

The machine work is top notch. |
