Skipper and I took off from Bird Island with another great sunrise joined already in progress

First stop was the Rocky Slough area where we heard some good bait getting crashed. I lost a decent fish right off on a topwater a while later Skipper had his She Dog grabbed just as he was about to lift his bait out of the water. He tried to give her a little off the drag but she had struck so short she managed to get off and she was easily six pounds or better as I was getting the net as she pulled free. Not many bites but they were good fish. Then we ground it out for our flounder in the Landcut and each of us got one good keeper both 16.5 perfect for stuffing.

Honestly it's my shirt! I am not THAT fat Very Happy

More fun up north in the flats but nothing going on so we headed back north to the late T.W's spot north of Compuerta where the dink trout were on again. Then another stop just north of there where we played with more dink trout where Skipper managed to grind out three keeper trout.

He had the hot hand on keeper trout. We never found the reds.

Like, Stan Skipper likes his "fried".

I still had fun. Been tough on lures, but I'm not giving up... Adios
