I was fishing between #1 and Hog Island today and saw a top drive burning the flats towing a swim tube with a passenger. Totally unbelievable . Should have tried to video. _________________ Life is Good |

You can't fix stupid. I had a guy the other day coming down the ICW, decided to turn RIGHT in front of me with a tube THAT HAD KIDS on it, throwing one of them off. Thank goodness is was idling and had not got on plane yet. It really makes me angry when people put kids in dangerous situations, that's the worst. _________________ JJ |

To quote my wife "NO BRAINS NO HEADACHES".
I would love to own a sailboat again, but I realize that too many if not most places in the Laguna are too shallow to properly use a sailboat with a keel and CC Bay probably is too far to go under motor just for a couple of hours sailing. Add to that the general public's lack of knowledge about boats under sail having the right of way and it's just not worth the hassle. Where are the patrol boats in the ICW when you need them. Endangering the lives of kids is not an option. |
