A visitor from Serbia staying with Will named Dragan Djukanovic
got this nice 28" surf trout using a pony mullet fishing Sunday 8/11 on Mustang Island.

| Wow! Nice trout. Doesn't look like it was his first day in the sun, either. Very cool - love it when visitors get a shot at what our state has to offer in the outdoors. |

| trout near mustang have been awesome, caught quite a few last couple a times out suprisingly during very low tides |

Nice trout! Went to Mustang this evening just to enjoy the sunset with my wife and the mullet were thick! Looks like the migration has commenced.

Yeah he is a sun worshiper. We've had a blast the past four weeks. Bob Hall and the beach. More fishing than I have done in years. The surf wasn't very good at first but has since turned on with a vengeance.

Oh yeah. And it also seems I'm not allowed to catch big trout anymore. Twice in one year now I've had very inexperienced anglers fishing with me catch huge trophies while I'm limited to trout 18" or less. 
Anyone wanna fish?

LOL I know I bet he doesn't know that many folks have fished for years and have not caught a trout anything close to 28".
