| Last weekend it was cool to the touch two miles offshore of PINS, but the offshore action was hot! It was warm near shore but I didn't see much action in the surf while we were there. |

| Just got back from there....water wasn't real clear; no new weed in the water..... very little bait, no schools of mullet, and fishing was sloooooow. ..other than whiting. There were a few spanish macks caught...mostly really small, a few baby sharks, and one or two pomps from 7am---12:30. But about 11:30 am, they starting catching good size kings at the T.... at least three were caught within 30 minutes. |

For the last two days the surf around Packery has been loaded w/ pony and horse mullet. Water clarity was much better today than yesterday. Mullet were getting blown up so there are still some predators around. Saw one king go flying so it's not all doom and gloom. Also caught a 22 inch trout with a pony mullet in his throat while throwing the castnet. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

| Just came back from the 46 helping out a tundra with a broken serpentine belt. Didn't feel the water but there it was dirty to the second bar...very distinct line. Closer to the the 30 water started to clear up between the first and second bar. At the 20 or so water was clean pretty much all the way to the shore. It was like that from 0-20. |

| No it was a white one down at the 46. I was in a 02 pewter Silverado z71...by far the best job for work I've had. |

Just had to get out last night. Set up around 7 PM. fishing SBHP just south of the little blow out. Driving around BH was very soft. Wade gut was almost chest deep ( I'm about 6') with lots of mullet. First rod cast over the first sandbar, second in the wade gut. Used dead mullet, whole and cut , for bait.
Wade gut rod would rarely go 2 minutes before going off. Ended up with several whiting and a 24" red. Never lost bait on the long rod. Left at 8:45 PM. Crazies were coming out; racing down the beach, doing donuts, and it was dark now. It was time to go. |
