Last Friday a dozen of us ventured out to the helipad rig to see what fish were around. Kings were as aggressive as I've ever seen. Running through the rigs, eating baits while the previous kayaker was still trying to land them... it was crazy. One guy had a king repeatedly jump out of the water to get his lure hanging from the rod tip in the back of his kayak. That king went 42".
I only paddled about 8 miles, trying to save plenty for the tournament the next morning. In the scupper pro, it was easy paddling but the fish wore me out.
