Won't work in my Lowrance Elite 5 DSI (Wont Take Card With Over 2MBData)....Paid $200....Will take $100...Call Ken 281-433-6264

Did you get the Elite 5 DSI on Monday through the West Marine deal?

If so it is supposed to come with a gold card

Bought from Cabellas in August, They assured me the premium card would work in Elite DSI.....It does not !!

I just got the Elite 5DSI and Platinum chip. Same problem... Evil or Very Mad

Wish they would have told me before spending $200.

Hrmm.... I need to check my Navionics card. I think I have the Gold, but my HDS8 should work with the Platinum also. If so, I may trade you if I can see any difference in map detail. I'm on the island too...

Let me know if you're interested and I'll check my SD card.....

you might need to do a firmware update. I had to do that on my 5 yr old GPS to make it work
