what's better...????
just crisped up some HEB thick cut.. toasted some wheat bread.
little yella mustard, real mayo..
garden tomaters, S&P, romaine lettuce
and on the side one'a my wicked garden cayennes
ooffa"!!! Very Happy

Amen. Been using up the last of the garden maters on blt's as of late. There is an awesome bakery that opened up on NPI a year or two ago. They sell a loaf called knauzen bread, or something like that. I think the k is silent. Anyhow, that bread toasted with home grown maters served just like you described, minus the mustard, is simplicity at its best, imo. Can't think of a better sammich. Very Happy

why not...
they deep fry ice cream....
shouldn't be too hard to toothpick a sammich and stick in batter and deep six in some hot grease....
and prolly find lotsa folks ta eat it, too.
seems like I seen deep fried bacon somewhar, too...
hey, how 'bout a deep fried Whatabuger w/ bacon cheese and jalapas?
yeah... I'll have a number five to go,, and just throw the whole sack in batter and then the fryer Laughing
there'd be some who'd eat it... paper and all....
deep fry that 32oz styro Dr Pepper, too.
