Went out yesterday to beat the Spring Breakers. Found a nice area around 7 miles south of BHP. Caught some good size Whiting(20). Weed was rolling in the first and secound gut. If you waited 10 minutes it would pass. Water was clear.Used Fish Bites and Shrimp.
Picked up my new HDX. What a rod!!! Thanks Nick!
One the way back(around 5:30pm), I stop and talk to a gentlemen coming in from the surf. He was holding a good size Smack. He was fishing about 2 miles south of BHP. I watched the surf and saw Smacks jumping out of the water in the secound gut. Drove down 200 yards from him and grabbed my rod and went in.
Here is the result. They were over all over 24"
Be safe on the beach this Spring Break.......

Nice macs man! I tried calling you back Friday morning before I went to work but I guess you were asleep. I thought I was gonna make it to the island this weekend but nope. Confused
