I am one of the lucky few who get paid to fish Laughing Laughing Fished the Tx Treasures shore line and pier from about 1 to 3:30 PM and caught 3 specs 16, 22, 23 inches and one redfish that went 23 inches also. Sorry no pics I didnt have my camera with me. Very Happy

a few years befor the Texas Teasure, when we was taking the Exxon tank farm out of service, I saw 5 trout around the dock just a cruisin taking life easy. I swear all 5 were 30" plus. What a sight. We jigged everything in front of them, they just ignored it and continued getting oldr. Man, What a sight!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally true...when Exxon still owned everything we fished there regularly and those kind of trout were common - but you didn't hook them very often. Three-5#ers were what we mostly caught (mid 1960's)....we took it for granted never thinking the day would come when a "5" would be considered big...LOL
