Well with the Mako gone and waiting on the new boat, dad, a couple of friends, and I decided to take out the jon boat to do a little duck hunting. Well, the ride was beautiful but the ducks aren't here yet! We only had one flock come close... no response to calls either. My guess is it is to early and warm...the numbers just aren't here

I'll be back in a few weeks, someone give me a call when the ducks get to CC.Laughing Stay safe out their guys!

Same results for us to only two redheads between two of us. but fresh water holding a ton of ducks. Easy limits usually done by 8:30. Will keep u informed on the bay. I hunt twice a week

They have too much freshwater to run around in right now, haven't really pushed down to the bays yet.

We killed a two man limit this morning. 4 redheads, 4 pintails, 1 ringneck, 1 bufflehead, and 2 scaup. Birds are here you just have to find them.

Good luck everyone!!

Me and the old man have been out several times, this afternoon included. Very difficult hunting so far. We're seeing more numbers but not many coming close enough for steel shot to bring down.
I don't recall it being this tough early on last season. Don't recall nearly as much rain either. Laughing
