Air Temp: 86
Water Temp: 84
Wind: 5-15 ESE
Waves: 2-3 ft
Water Clarity: Majority of beach is gin clear with the exception of the 21-26 and 29-34.
Weed: New and old weed has shown up the length of the beach with the NE winds we had Sunday and Monday. South end has much less than the north end and will clear quickly with the SE winds.
Driving: 2WD the length of the beach but very bumpy in places. Getting soft in big shell and the 50's.
Typical birds on the beach with the exception of 260 Black Terns. Also saw 2 Marbled Godwit, 3 Night Hawks, 3 Oyster Catchers, and 12 Black Skimmers.
LOTS of stingrays big and small cruising the first gut. Make sure to drag your feet when walking in the surf. Black Tip sharks 3-4 feet cruising the water edge in the first gut early in the morning. Turtle patrol said they've had around 60 nests on PINS so far this year.
