I was musing through the android apps the other day at the android store and saw one or two I thought might have some use for fishing. One for lunar phases and another for sunrise/sunset.
Has anyone found any good apps for fishing purposes. If so perhaps we can share information. I'm at work right now and will post on the two I found tonite. _________________ Now that food has replaced my sex life I can't even get into my own pants!!!!!!!!

Not sure if it's an adroid app or not, but I have one that is reasonably decent: Fish TXSW. I think it's called "Fishing Companion: Texas Saltwater." It provides pictures of all species, as well as the daily bag limits. They recently added in a "catching log" feature too, but I haven't used it. Frankly, the most interesting part of it are the pics--it helps identify the less seen species on the fly, particularly sharks. _________________ Fish ON! |

Navionics is a great app but mostly for boaters or kayakers. Although it does show some good detail for shoreline wade fishing. I'm not too sure if it has crossed over from apple to android yet. its been out for a few years so it should be. _________________ Wish I was fishing. |

Navionics Marine & Lakes USA is THE "go to" fishing and boating app, and works great on most Android devices. Got some new upgrades coming soon that will allow for a more interactive graphics display designed specifically to aid fishermen. They're already on the Apple version.
Features and benefits are far too numerous to mention here, so just check it out. Then hit me up via email if you have questions.
