Reds have been out in the flats across from City by the Sea/Estes hitting on cut bait.
Do not know about trout. Some drum along the edges of the ICW around Cove Harbor area according to a couple of recent reports. Have not heard much from the back side of San Jose Island or Carlos Bay. Winds have been persistent.
Last week guides were on numerous trout out in Lydia Ann Channel up some distance from the Lighthouse nearer to Corpus Christi Cut. Some boats anchored up off backside of Traylor mid week with waders out but did not see a whole lot of catching.
Good luck and happy sailing!!!!

Yesterday in the AM trout were schooling up around Corpus Christi Cut where it bleeds thru the pass through near the Quarantine Shoreline....neighbor went through there and the guides were having a trout roundup. I am not that familiar with the area so I am not precise as to locale. Again...lots of boats fishing the birds up and down Lydia Ann.
