Winds 8mph, temp a cool 50degs, humidity at 86%, barometer is a high 30.15 and the coffee is G-R-E-A-T. Headed out in 1 hour. It's going to be a chilly ride but should warm up quickly with the sunrise.

A "GREAT" day for golfing, also.  I have a tourney at the CC Country Club today. If I break 80 I'm on the right track.  Good luck Stan and all who venture out to the "Laguna Highway!"  |

Wind from the North, wind from the West, Wind from The East, lots and lots of 147/8 trout, lots of rude boaters, However Meeting Capt. Tony from the Airforce was nice, a great guy indeed. Hope to fish with him again. Heck he caught the only keeper. We fished way down south, the Backyard and points inbetween. Just another day. Lots of action just an empty box ......again. I had just as much action on plastics as we did with lively shrimp. It was cold, the tide dropped out. Doing it again in the am. I should have focused on shorelines and spoil Islands, that will be my plan in the am. IMS

The Laguna Highway is what it was this morning. Or the Laguna 500.

Not just on the weekends. I found out today the best way to piss off a potlicker is to catch fish right in front of them while they drift right behind you on your line. |

| It was tough this morning. Was at deadmans with 7 other boats this morning. Lots of action no keepers. ended up drifting a flat and came on a small school of reds took one home. yes TIDE IS LOW. Turning up the mud coming dwn deadmans channel. |
