Port Aransas:
12 p.m.
Air temp: 68
Water temp: 65.1 (C.C. point 63.7)
Water Color: Light jade green with 7/10 clarity
Waves: 2 to 3 ft with some glassy spots
Wind: Only 8 SE !
Tidal coefficient: 104 to 100
Tide: High at 3:27 p.m. with a BIG fall after that (hint hint)
Bait: Saw none, imagined some schooling activity under waves
Birds: Plenty of gulls in the surf plus a 20 or so pelicans feeding in the second gut
My overall fishability rating: 7.5 out of 10
I'm headed to the jetty. |
