| Wishing I was living down on the coast so I could hunt some redfish tomorrow morning... Instead I'll be landlocked in SM. |

Finger crossed the wind will let up this weekend! (I already know it is a 99.999% chance that will not happen) _________________ JJ |

Fishing and golfing. Dr. Barton gave me a call a little after 8 am for a quick trip to Nueces. Three drifts and I put 3 keepers and two throwbacks in the boat on a red queen beetle. Dr. Barton........well he learned a couple new spots. He took me back to the ramp at 1045 so I would not be late for a golf match at Sinton and headed back out. I do not know what he caught when he went back out. As far as the golf match, I birdied 9, knocking it in from 20 yards off the green with a pitching wedge for a 43 on the front. I also birdied 18 with a 63' putt, pin high left, 3' off the green, with a 2' break for a 39 on the back for a round of 82, tying my best round since a 5 year lay off due to a shoulder and knee injury. The way we play, if you win 9 or 18 no matter how bad your are down on that nine, you are immediately even for the 9. I guess you could say, I got even on a bunch of guys real quick! |
