| Last time I filled up there about 3 weeks ago, I asked the guy at the register and he said they still had it. I had my doubts. I thought they had to post it on their pumps if it DID contain ethanol. |

Now you guys have me doubting whether they do or not. Way back when, it was all ethanol free. Then, a year or so ago their top 2 grades contained ethanol.
I was under the impression their low grade was still ethanol free.
I have to fill gas in the next couple of days and I will check it out. _________________

They said it would only be regular a while back. Now they don't say anything but normally I think they are required to post those stickers that say "may contain up to 10% ethanol" and I have not seen those on the pumps. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

| I tested Rudys regular unleaded tonite and it still is ethanol free. I have an aircraft fuel testing kit and it would show alcohol or water. Neither are present as of today. Alot of ethanol plants are closing as their profit margin is too low due to the high cost of corn. Looks like they will have to the government to up the subsidy from 45 cents. I just love the way the government takes care of us. |

That's exactly why I ask. Thanks for the test results FM1. |

thanks for the info on the gas (and well centered political view)
I wonder what it will take for people to figure out what an utter scam ethanol is...
I did a test in my truck about 8 months ago, running 5 tanks of non ethanol from Rudy's, versus 5 tanks of ethanol from valero or whatever stripes is selling... on ethanol, my truck got 14.6 MPG, on Rudy's it got 15.6 MPG. So basically... by "replacing" 10% of the crude oil with ethanol, ethano fuel gets 7% less mileage! so that's a whopping 3% savings for all the grief ethanol causes.
wow, look at all that fossil fuel ethanol is saving!~!! |

They should of never used a food supply for fuel. Doesn't work in so many ways. Seems other countries use sugar-cane. That would work a lot better than corn.

you just figured that out?
what year is your truck, the newer model trucks are designed to run on that ecrap, that is where the "savings" will be...then again, if you run a new diesel, you must buy the new additive to go with it.
