| How is the fishing over by the nueces bay power plant? is that area known for flounder? |

| It has been a long time since Imfished around the power plant, like 15 yrs, but I did catch flounder. Some great red and speck action. Good luck. |

I do not believe they are discharging any water at this time. I have caught a few flounder in that area in years past, though. As far as recently, I do not know. I have been catching trout and a few reds all week on soft plastics near and on top of the reefs(When the tide is up) on the north side of the bay. My favorite colors are red with a white tail and if the water is super clear, I like purple, blue glitter with a white tail. The water is really clear at this time and it is easy to spot the dark brown reefs. Good luck if you get a chance to go and "Never" leave them biting!  |
