Well I did good again, for me anyways. 5 keeper trout and lost a big un that would have been my pb, probably 24" or so. All fish were caught on the brown Fat Boy in 3 to 5 ft of water. Now that I've had trout action for a couple days I'll focus on finding some reds or flounder tolorrow. I have no idea where to look for either at but I'll be looking regardless. If anyone wants to give me some ideas as far as what to look for water wise and lure wise I'd appreciate any help I can get. Good luck to everyone fishing tomorrow.

Jake,

Good job. I read your earlier post and I'm in the same boat. I'm an offshore/PINS fisherman trying to learn Redfish Bay. I consider myself an average bay fisherman at best. I too live in Aransas Pass. Being form the Bulff I can hold my own down south, but now I'm faced with the task of learning a new area. I know you can catch flounder along the shrimpboat channel, but haven't killed one in over a month. The curly tailed plastics work well. I'm going to get a few Fat Boys now, hopefully I'll thank you later. Good luck man, I'll keep an eye out for you.

Eric

Appears that you are a fish catcher. Congratulations.
