I miss the old ABC show "The Wide World of Sport", and "The American Sportsman." What great shows. Seeing sports that seldom got TV coverage, and a great variety of hunting and fishing. Miss you, Curt Gowdy and Jim McKay.

Me too! Bing Crosby and Phil Harris pheasant hunting etc.
I think the Superstars came out of Wide World of Sports. I liked watching those shows too. I remember I was impressed at how fast OJ still was and that he could press 225 over his head with lousy technique. |
