I live in SA and want to pull my boat down for some trout fishing and go surf fishing the next day. Of course the trailer has a padlock, but a $30 pair of bolt cutters would make short work of that.

Would the boat be safe at the NAS launch area?

My plan is to sleep on the beach so I could drop it off at the PINS pavilion before going surf fishing. What would be the safest area... NAS or PINS pavilion?

I wouldn't have any reservations about dropping the trailer in a parking lot at Lackland AFB... but I've never been to the NAS.

I am not sure of the answer to that. But you can keep your Scrambler at my house. Very nice CJ8...
