As Usual For This Time Of Year Weather Was Cold And Very Breezy. Got Down To The Cabin Right At, And I Mean Right At Dark. Set Up Every Thing And Started Drum Fishing. Caught My First Limit Before Midnight Went To Bed And Started Fishing Again In The Early Am. A Couple Of 16 Inch Trout Right Before Daylight Then Went Inside To Warm Up . It Was Definantlty Feburary In Texas. After A Couple Of Cups Of Coffee And A Couple Of Breakfast Tacos Started Drum Fishing. A Had My Second Limit Around Noon The Second Day. Had To Catch And Release Quite A Few More While Trying For Reds. No Reds Of Any Size This Outting. The Second Night I Put A Few More Trout In The Box 16 To 18 Inches Long. Caught All The Drum Bottom Fishing With Live Shrimp Big Enough For Me To Eat. Caught The Specks Under The Light With Green Glow In The Dark Speck Rigs. No Pics Due To The Lack Of Me Purchasing A New Camera. Some Suggestions Please On What Camera To By For The Salt Water. _________________ I'VE NEVER HAD A BAD FISHING OR HUNTING TRIP, JUST ONES WITH DIFFERENT OUTCOMES. |

| Sounds like a great trip. Any tips on where to go during the day in the cut? I'm always at a loss trying to figure out where to go once I get down there. The "cut" is a big area.... |
